Children under 5 travel for free. The 40 minute journey can be enjoyed on deck, taking in the sea air and sunshine or below deck, enjoying submarine views of the underwater world. The boat trip is just one of many boating experiences on the Costa Blanca, we provide plenty of information in these posts covering the various types of Fishing Trips in Costa Blanca to enjoy during the summer months and also provide a list of the many Costa Blanca Cruises on offer to the public.

Exploring Tabarca Island

A haven for pirates in years of old, Tabarca is the largest and the only inhabited island belonging to the Community of Valencia and was declared a protected marine reserve and bird sanctuary in 1986. The island is approximately 1,800 metres long and 400 metres wide with a mixture of sandy beaches, coves and cliffs. The climate is mild and the water clear, making it ideal for snorkeling and water sports. Places of interest include a museum, old fort, lighthouse, San Pedro and San Pablo churches and Casa del Gobernador ( Governor’s House ) The island is renowned for it’s seafood restaurants and offers a delicious choice of speciality seafood dishes. Restaurant prices are a bit higher than on the mainland but well worth the extra cost. For those on a tight budget, it is advisable to take along a cooler bag which also gives visitors the freedom to enjoy their lunch anywhere on the island.
